Position Details

• Location: Remote (California license required)
• Facility Type: Audiology / Remote diagnostic review
• Schedule: Flexible, provider-selected; Monday–Friday with optional weekends
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours/week minimum
• Shift Type: Part-time, asynchronous reads
• Start Date: Training April 28–30 (8am–12pm PDT); guaranteed hours begin May 4
• Assignment Length: 6 months, ongoing potential
• Patient Population: All ages
• Patient Volume: Ramp to ~100 reads per day
• Visit Type: Scheduled appointments with potential walk-ins
• EMR: NextGen (may vary initially)
• Compensation: $60-64/hour

Responsibilities

• Review audiogram results for accuracy and completeness
• Interpret findings and prepare signed clinical reports
• Develop treatment plans and recommendations using AI-supported tools
• Initiate teleaudiology support when additional testing is needed
• Complete and submit all reads and documentation within 24 hours
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants conducting field-based testing
• Participate in optional hearing aid fittings as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• California state Audiology license
• Audiology specialty training

Preferred (not required):

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)
• American Board of Audiology (ABA) Certification
• Hearing Aid Dispenser License
