NP/PA in Katy, TX: Responsibilities

• Review the examination request and relevant medical records to prepare for each evaluation.
• Discuss the Veteran’s relevant medical history and the conditions identified for assessment.
• Perform focused physical assessments as part of in-person Compensation and Pension examinations.
• Document objective findings using the required examination forms and reporting templates.

Qualifications

Required

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant professional background.
• For Nurse Practitioner applicants: Texas ARNP license.
• Ability to perform focused clinical assessments and record objective findings accurately.
• Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills.
• Availability for the full-time weekday assignment at the Katy site.
